24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save their life[a] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. 26 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?
Are Christians still able to deny themselves, their desire to be popular, to blend in, to nto be criticized, to be seen as modern, tolerant? Are they ashamed of the gospel, the fundamental truth, are they ashamed to conserve the faith and stand up for ancient truth?
Worldwide Christians have flirted with tolerance of evil just to avoid being called conservative.
It is with great sadness that we are witnessing terror attacks, sexual assaults of women and children, and violence against innocent people in Europe. People who came as refugees and received a warm and generous welcome seem to hate these Christian nations and act not with gratefulness but with the demeanour of new bosses. Christianity is being replaced by tolerance of the intolerable. Child marriages and honour killings are being excused with cultural differences. The European people are confused. Why aren’t their leaders standing up for them and protecting them like they are supposed to? When a nation’s leaders deny the Lord Jesus in order to appease business partners and other agendas, it will have spiritual repercussions. When Christians don’t deny themselves anymore for the sake of the cross, they might lose their very soul.

Anita writes in her Foreword:
“It has been so refreshing to read this publication. Andries and Christiane have managed to clearly explain how the Holy Spirit works within us, in the process clearing up many misconceptions about how God speaks. It is wonderful to have each chapter backed with personal testimonies to cement each gift. This gives us such a clear view of how God works with and through the authors, and potentially with all of us. Andries’s prophetic gift is certainly very sharp. To be honest, this book has spurred me on to hear clearer, move quicker and be more useful to the Holy Spirit.
Having known Andries for many years I know that he is always on “spiritual duty”. He evangelizes everywhere and uses his gifts constantly to bring people the realness of the Holy Spirit. This book will minister to you through the pages. Be expectant for God to speak as you read. The gifts of the Holy Spirit have been explained very clearly and simple. You will begin to feel an excitement for the gifts of the Holy Spirit, so be prepared. As you go through the pages and chapters you will find your own gifts being stirred. That is the purpose of a prophetic book.
I have great admiration for Andries as a Pastor and a Prophet. It is not easy to be both but he manages so well. It comes through clearly in the pages of the book. He knows when to be pastoral and when to put on the prophets mantle. This book was certainly written by the prophet and the message is clear and concise.
It has been such a blessing to know Andries, Christiane and their two beautiful sons, truly a family gifted and blessed. Thank you for your friendship.

Yippeh! We are excited to announce that in between raising two young and very busy sons, pastoring a church, managing a preschool and doing various charity work, we were finally able to complete our first book!
This book is born out of the amazing things we have experienced in our daily walk with God in a nation that has many challenges. With so much crime and no real social security, we need to hear God’s voice so much more.
God talks, wants to warn and advise and encourage you! Dreams, visions, the bible, prophetic insight popping up in your spirit when you pray, we talk about how you can fine tune into God’s voice.
This book contains more than 60 exciting stories and events in our lives where God spoke things we couldn’t possibly know through human understanding alone, and how God uses a sensitive believer to impact the lives…
