Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying, “Let us break their chains and throw off their shackles.” I will proclaim the Lord ’s decree: He said to me, “You are my son; today I have become your father. Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession. You will break them with a rod of iron ; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.” Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling.
Psalms 2:1-3, 7-11 NIV
I want to encourage you to spend time praying, really praying. Really declaring the will of God over our nation.
No matter how much leaders and nations conspire against the kingdom of God, the Lord laughs at evil plans and His ruling will be eternal.
As church we should be aware that the same powers that enrich themselves, promote sin and killing of unborn do not suddenly care about you. But God does. So turn to Him and seek counsel and wisdom from His word.
Pray for governments that the Lord’s will be done and Christians will not be persecuted and laws not abused to harm people.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord , “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:11-13 NIV
Pray that the Lord guides you and hides you in His shadow so no harm will befall you and your house.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7 NIV
Stay prayerful and be sensitive to the guidance of the Holy spirit of where to go and what to do in the middle of worldly turmoil He can keep His people safe.
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NIV
The enemy of Christ can conspire and spin evil nets to trap the world, but you live from another dimension.
Like Daniel, like Jeremiah, like Noah we are in this world and have to experience the turmoils around us but aren’t from this world.
I pray that the Lord’s presence will guide you and keep you safe always.
