There is a great need to pray for all those affected by the tragedy of Marikina. In one year over 186 businesses have closed down in the Rustenburg, and in the surrounding areas. Many people have lost homes, cars and many don’t even have food on their table, the economy is rock bottom.
The widows of the Marikana tradgedy are not being afforded the support they were promised, enabling them to continue with their lives unhindered, being able to provide for their families. Fear abounds as the Spirit of witchcraft and intimidation is the norm of the day.
1 Timothy 2:2 – First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior.
Govt officials, union leaders, mine bosses and others have exploited workers and their families for the purpose of unjust and dishonest gains. God wants to bring a complete new order in the way the wealth of His Kingdom is stewarded. Let us pray for Godly Leaders to be raised, those that have the heart of the people, those that will lead, obeying and instituting that which is on HIS HEART amongst the people and amongst those in the marketplace.
PROPHETIC WORD:
God is going to bring REVIVAL and RESTORATION, that those that have lost their dignity, their self worth, their families, that these ones may have hope and vision restored as God begins to move in this region. Men and woman will seek him with a new hunger and thirst, and there will be an outpouring of His Spirit, moving far and wide.
