Original Prophecy 3 May 2014: While waiting on the Lord in a time of prayer I saw a vision of a boat/ferry or float. It was trying to cross what looked like the Mediterranean Sea or an ocean crossing to Europe and started sinking causing many lives to be lost.

Please pray for

* The people crossing the Mediterranean/Ocean seeking for asylum by snall boat/ferry to be vigilant and safe.
* Illegal asylum ferry operators to be caught and stopped from putting desperate people who are trying to escape to Europe lives at risk.

CNN 5 MAY 2014- At least 22 people have drowned and 10 more are missing after two boats carrying migrants capsized off the Greek island of Samos, a coast guard official said Monday.

Thirty-six survivors have been rescued from the Aegean Sea, and the search is continuing, Katherine Tenta of the Greek coast guard told CNN by phone.

The two vessels foundered about 4 nautical miles off Samos, Tenta said, adding that authorities did not yet know their nationalities.

Thousands of migrants from Africa and the Middle East pack into often unsafe boats to get into the European Union through Greece, Italy, Malta and other coastal states. The numbers have increased since the 2011 Arab Spring uprisings triggered unrest across North Africa and civil war in Syria.

BBC 5 MAY 2014: The Greek coastguard say two boats carrying migrants have capsized in the Aegean Sea.

At least 22 people have drowned and another seven are missing.

Thirty-six survivors have been rescued from the sea and the search is continuing, officials say.

Greece is a major entry point for migrants and refugees trying to reach the European Union. Many cross by sea from Turkey, and accidents are frequent.

Correspondents say there has been a sharp increase in sea-borne refugee traffic over the past year because of stricter controls on the Greek-Turkish land border to the north and the ongoing war in Syria.

Overcrowded

The two vessels foundered about four nautical miles off the Greek island of Samos, close to the Turkish coast, on Monday, according to officials.
