Although we are thankful for the foiled Terror attempt in Canada and Spain we need to continue to pray as what has happened in Boston and Libya proes the seriousness of this Global Threat. Terrorism is a major threat that will escalate in 2013 as there will be many bombing attacks. A major step up in security will become necessary, not just for American embassies, but also for a lot of other democratic nation’s embassies. Many nations will have to start re-assessing their safety and security protocol. When travelling, people should be wise and use godly discernment regarding their scheduled timing.”
Spain arrests 2 men suspected of al Qaeda group links
Madrid (CNN) — Spanish police arrested two suspected terrorists with apparent links to an al Qaeda-affiliated group Tuesday but said they had no indication of an imminent attack.
The Interior Ministry identified the suspects as Nou Mediouni, 23, from Algeria, who was arrested in the north-central city of Zaragoza, and Hassan El Jaaouani, 52, from Morocco, who was detained in the southeastern city of Murcia.
Spanish police worked with their counterparts in France and Morocco to carry out the latest arrests, an Interior Ministry statement said.
The two suspects have a “profile” that is similar to the two suspects in the Boston Marathon attacks, the statement said. Interior Minister Jorge Fernandez Diaz told reporters that police consider them “lone wolves,” like the Boston suspects.
Car bomb explodes outside French embassy
Explosion rocks French Embassy in Libya
Tripoli, Libya (CNN) — A car bomb exploded just outside the French Embassy in Tripoli early Tuesday morning, injuring two French security guards and a Libyan girl, officials said.
The blast was so powerful it blew the front wall off the embassy. Homes can cars adjacent to the embassy sustained heavy damage, and the windows of nearby buildings in this upscale, largely residential neighborhood were also blown out.
During a visit to the area, Deputy Prime Minister Awad Barasi said a 13-year-old girl in a nearby house was injured in the attack and will be taken to Tunisia for treatment.

TERRORISM CONTINUES: SIX PLEAD GUILTY TO UK TERROR PLOT
CNN) — Six men have pleaded guilty to planning a terror attack against a right-wing group’s rally in the United Kingdom last year — a plan police say failed because the would-be attackers arrived after the event ended — authorities said Tuesday.
The men, all from the West Midlands in England and in their 20s, planned to attack an English Defence League rally in Dewsbury with guns, knives and an explosive made from fireworks packed with nails and ball bearings, West Midlands police said.
The six — Omar Khan, Zohaib Ahmed, Mohammed Hasseen, Mohammed Saud, Anzal Hussain and Jewel Uddin — pleaded guilty this month to preparing for terrorism.
Police said five of the men traveled with the weapons to a rally of the EDL — known for criticizing Islamic extremism — in late June. But by the time they arrived, the rally had dispersed, police said.
A police officer later stopped one of their two vehicles, concerned that it was in poor condition, and seized it because it appeared to have no insurance. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed two shotguns, kitchen knives, machetes and an explosive device with shrapnel, police said.
Also in the vehicle was a note addressed to the “enemies of Islam,” Queen Elizabeth II and Prime Minister David Cameron, police said.
