God is talking – and we should not stay quiet.

Many people wonder why we see happening what we see happening. Earthquakes, catastrophes, riots and assaults are making headlines. Daily. And no – I am NOT saying that God is behind any of these horrible things happening to people all around the globe. There are too many voices around blaming the Lord, God, for those incidents as if He would delight in thinking out and orchestrating tragedies. Others ask: why does God allow it? Although He never did. It’s never ever been in God’s heart and mind to bring anything destructive into people’s lives. In His word, the bible, written down by those who listened, God claims (Jeremiah 29:11) ” For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
The bible also states (James1:17 ISV) “Every generous act of giving and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father who made the heavenly lights, in whom there is no inconsistency or shifting shadow. ” Means: God wont change His mind. He is the author of good. Period.

In fact, God’s worst enemy is the author of destruction. We know him as satan, the devil, his name also means father of confusion and destroyer. Now I know, for many of you this seems a bit out of touch with your daily realities, and I am saying I put it all just in a nutshell. After all, this is going to be one exciting blog and not a book about theology. There is this ancient battle going on, good against evil, God against the devil. We measure our current time by the one event that changed it all: The death of Jesus Christ on the cross and His resurrection by which He gained victory over satan. After that, humankind was enabled to share in His victory by following Him. This meant, being forgiven for sins, living a righteous life, having a “hot wire” as you will, to God, being given a mission to do His will, that is, good, to mankind. “Salvation” means much more, though. Maybe we can talk about that later.

God wants to be in contact with his children, with mankind. He wants to warn them about onslaughts and show them how to succeed overcoming evil. A lot of humankinds perils are homemade, actually. Neither God nor the devil command us to eat foods that contain sickening substances, but when cancer his, God often receives the blame. Well, greedy people should be blamed. Still, we all got a choice to by healthier foods. But what about big nature catastrophes? They are results of hundreds of factors, lots of them manmade, like environmental pollution causing a domino effect of wrong turns resulting in draughts, mudslides, extinction of animals, floods, fires etc. Does God cause them? I dont think so, no. Does God know about them before they happen? Certainly.

Does God want to warn us, mankind, and guide us on a safer path? Definately.

But alas, although many people made their peace with God through Jesus Christ, few are truly connected to their heavenly father and far to few pay heed to His voice.

Is it difficult to listen? No, it is in God’s own interest to make it simple for everybody to hear and understand. It’s easy, a child can understand it.

In the bible, even a donkey understood.

Well, and today, even Elephants and other animals knew about the Tsunami before it hit and flew. Yes, mankind had complicated instrument that measured seismic abnormalities but we reacted to late. I know, God’s heart broke seeing thousands of lives destroyed, crushed and broken.

What if …

…. we would listen closer?

…. pay attention?

… take what the Lord has to say seriously?

… believe God means it well with human kind and has a better way out?

… act on His word?

Watch this blog and see what happens.
